With the large image collection in Krasna Photo Collection, I reached the performance limits of my rented web hosting at the beginning of 2024. The problem has now been identified and circumvented with the Dokuwiki software. During the downtime, I set up a second solution for image management using the Piwigo software. See which one you prefer.

The huge photo collection in „Krasna Photo Collection“ is linked to the individual persons in the person report with more than 20,000 hyperlinks.

This image archive is a standalone web application.

Your username and email address have been assigned by the administrator, just like on the main Krasna Photo Collection website.
All users from KPC back to November 2023 are included.
When using it for the first time, you will need to set up a password. You can change your password later, for example to the one you use for KPC.

When setting up for the first time, you must use the username or email address used for KPC.

1. Delete all emails you received from previous attempts by KPC-PW with a “confirmation code.”
2. Restart your PC so that nothing in the cache interferes.
3. Start your Internet browser.

4. You are already registered with KPC-PW. All you need is a valid password.
   You are registered with KPC-PW using an email address that was sent to you separately.
   Please copy the spelling exactly.
5. Click on “Change my password.”
6. Leave the next screen as it is.
   
7. Switch to your email display. Wait for a new email from KPC-PW with a confirmation code. Copy the confirmation code.
   
8. Return to the registration process.
   Enter the new confirmation code (copy).
9. Once you have entered the confirmation code correctly, click on “Verify.”
10. Then the display will change. Think of a “New Password” and enter it here.
    I recommend using the KPC password.
    
11. In the window, enter the new password a second time to confirm.
12. Click on “Confirm my new password.”
13. Finally, you will receive the message “Your password has been successfully reset.”
    
14. Done. Click on “Sign up.”“.
15. In future, you can log in with your user name or email address and password and access the full content of KPC-PW.
