The weather today is a little cold and inclement, but all in all we can’t complain about the winter. The good weather is a fortune, especially for the farmers who have little hay – and we have many of those farmers here.

Romanus Blotzki complained in the paper that his horses couldn’t walk straight because of all the rocks in the prairie. The rocks, dear friend, have nothing to do with that. Feed the horses more oats!
