Worthy Staats-Anzeiger!

Recently Mr. Joseph Döringer visited with me and told me that he wanted to go home to get his brother. I told him that his plan was hard to execute. That’s when he asked me to write to my brother Joachim and ask him to help this man to come to Krasna. Then give word, so that the man will receive the money for the journey. His name is Valentin Döringer. He lives in Kleinliebental in the Cherson region. Thus dear brother, do your best and let us hear from you in this matter.

This is to inform Mr. Philipp Kahl that I am a reader of this paper. In answer to your questions, our cities here are about six miles apart. The difference in the price of wheat in the different cities is sometimes 2 to 3 cents.

I am asking “A Farmer” to let us hear from him in the paper more often.

In closing I am sending a heartfelt greeting to my old mother and my brothers in Krasna.

M. [Max] Both
