Honored Mr. Editor!
A while ago I asked through Romuald Dirk for the address of my friend Pontianus Dirk, who is from Krasna but now lives in America. Up until today I have not had an answer or a sign of life from him. Maybe he will read these lines and perhaps he will be so kind and order the Staats-Anzeiger for me for 1 year. I am not yet a reader but really would like to have the paper.
I also want to greet my Uncle Peter Mueller, son of Johannes and his sons. All of us are still healthy and we are waiting for a sign of life from the New World to let us know how you are doing there. My address is Rumania, Bessarabia, Ind. Tighina, Post Kainari, Kom. Balmas.

Worthy Staats-Anzeiger!
I received the calendar and was very happy about it. Thank you very much.
The weather is still nice, but we are going crazy about the situation with the prices.
I thank Anton Gedak, as well as Joachim Bott for the friendly information. I would also really like to hear from Florian A. Soehn, Raphael Gedak and my old neighbor Franz Jerk.
The health conditions leave a lot to be desired. The children have a cough and a head cold.
I am greeting all readers here and there.

This is to inform Anton Mueller in Krasna, Bessarabia that his brother-in-law Cyrillus Haag in St. Paul, Minnesota paid for the Staats-Anzeiger for him for 6 months and he also sends his greetings. Cyrillus insists that now you should correspond diligently for the newspaper.
