Worthy Staats-Anzeiger!
A while ago I had paid for the paper for 1 year for my brother-in-law Thomas Volk in Krasna, Bessarabia and I think the time is almost up. (*Editor: The subscription will expire on April 11, 1922) I sent him the paper so that he would write on and off, but up to this day he has not sent a single report to the Staats-Anzeiger.
I would be happy if he would write just once, and I am inviting him to do so. Hopefully, he will obey and sit down at his desk immediately after reading these lines to write a correspondence to the Staats-Anzeiger.
Further, I am greeting my brother Mathias Kuntz near Dodge, North Dakota. I also want to give him a nudge in the ribs, so that he will give up his laziness in letter writing and will start writing. (*Editor: Thank you for the money. The calendar will be mailed.)
