Dear Editor:

Enclosed please find the subscription price for the newspaper. Although I only saw one sample issue of your paper, I was quite impressed, and so my subscription.

I only have one suggestion and that is to print more news from Rumania. There are so many fellow countrymen from Russia and Rumania who still have friends and relatives in the old country who would like to get some news from there.

There is an excellent writer in Karamurat named Philip Wagner, who once wrote articles for another newspaper. For a small stipend, he would probably be more than happy to pick up his pen. (*Editor: We would love to engage more writers from the old country and would chip in to help defray the costs. If there are other readers around who know of someone handy with a pen over there, please write to them and let them have our address to they can write and send in their reports. We will do our best to get them a little bit of pay for their troubles. We are looking for two or three good writers from Rumania and several from Russia.)

It has been a long time since I received a letter from the old country, otherwise, I would have mailed them to you. Please, dear readers, should you get any letters from Rumania send them to the paper for publication. (*Editor: the editor would also appreciate this.)

Since there is not much else that is new around here, I will come to a close. I send greetings to all my friends as well as the readers, editor and staff.
