Dear Staats-Anzeiger!
Kaspar and Marianna Gross are asking their brother-in-law Anton and sister Barbara Schell in Brazil, South America to answer their letters. They would like to know how they are doing in the New World.
Kaspar is still doing fine. Three of his children are already married. They have already heard from people in Balmas that their father had died. Anton should write in the Staats-Anzeiger, since many letters to Emmental are getting lost.
Xaveri Mass is asking Lorenz Mass in Canada to order the Staats-Anzeiger for him and he thanks him in advance.
(*Editor: The enclosed letter for Edmund or Daniel Huettel in Canada could not be forwarded right away since the address isn’t listed. Now we have to search. As soon as we hear from them, we will send them the letter.)
Last week Jakob Lipp, son of Paul died at the age of 19 years.
On the sick list are Rafael Gedak and Katharina Kopp, wife of Emil Kopp.
A greeting to all readers and friends.
