Honored Mr. Brandt!
I am always happy to read something in the Staats-Anzeiger about the progression of German clubs in the state. These clubs then join the State’s Association of German Clubs. It is clear to me now that only in this way, the Germans in the state can achieve something in the political arena. Namely, when honest leadership true to principles takes on the fate of the State Association.
I am sorry that I could not attend the executive conference in Bismarck, because I was totally impeded. But I hope that the outcome of this conference succeeded in the betterment of the State Association of German Clubs. God willing I shall attend next year’s conference in Bismarck. Our association branch, Fulda, is also making enjoyable progress. New members were added. Below is a list of members. Parts of this list were published previously.
Julius Weidemann, president
Ignatz Schile, vice president
Johann Tuchscherer, treasurer
Anton Gerger, secretary
Simon Basch, Phil Dettling, Jakob Giesinger, Johann Giesinger, Ferdinand Hilzendeger, Kaspar Jahner, Franz Jahner, Julius Keller, Lorenz Keller, Valentin Keller, Jakob Miller, Andreas Miller, J. S. Miller, Ludwig Mathern, Jakob Mildenberger, Alois Schall, Wendelin Schall, Michael Stephan, Jakob Sattler, Dominik Tuchscherer, Johann D. Tuchscherer, Anton Tuchscherer, Martin Tuchscherer, Joseph Tuchscherer, Johann Volk, Klemens Volk, Vinzens Volk, Anton Volk, Adam Wormsbacher, Wilhelm Wolf, Joseph Wolf, Johann Steiner, Wilhelm Knoll, August Reimund, Jakob Schell, Louis Ebel, Mathias Wangler.
I hope that our German brothers throughout the state will more and more join together. That will earn us the attention in the political field that we deserve as righteous and God given.
Dear people do not wait until it is too late or until dire need leads you together.

My Uncle Michael and Aunt from Strasburg, North Dakota recently visited friends and acquaintances here. Also, my sister-in-law Kraziana Kopp from Raleigh, North Dakota visited with us for a week.
