I have already been waiting for months for my bonus. (*Editor: You had asked for the sewing kit. But so far we were not in a position to obtain any because of the war. Therefore we will send you a Marien Calendar this week and give you credit by extending your newspaper subscription a month.)

Today, the wife of Paulus Harmann departed this life as a result of a hemorrhage. The deceased was about 36 years old. Besides her deeply grieving husband, she left behind 5 small children. To those left behind, we express our sincere condolences.
