Dear Editor:
I would like to ask the editor to please print these few lines. I am not very good at writing and my effort could easily end up in the wastebasket, but practice makes perfect and who does not try is the fool.
Where are all the folks of Solen since no one writes? Am I the only reader in town? One gets to read about all the corners of the world, but not a word from Solen! Whoever out there does not have a subscription to this excellent publication should consider it. It is an excellent source of information. (*Editor - 3/10ths of population are subscribers. Get the others to order the paper too!)
Greetings to all my friends and family in the old homeland. I also have a request; I am looking for the addresses of Mrs. Raphael Ermentraut, daughter of Michael Stolz and of Jakob, son of Adam Becker. My heartfelt thanks in advance! Please send these to me or to the editor of the paper.
Greetings to my uncle, John Geiger and family in Bridger. I liked the articles about the Bosjakis. It is hard to believe they were written by you, John. Good job!! Glad to hear you are still among the living.
I wish a Merry Christmas to all readers, editor and staff.
Michael Stolz
