Note:
This is a report by Adam Seifert who writes about his experiences in the military during World War I while on the way home. He was with a group of men from Emmental. Only one of the group is mentioned by name. It is Alexander Plotzki whom they had sent to look for a wagon. They arrived in Strassburg and spent the night there. The old Mr. Peter Feist with whom Valentin Sahlt was living welcomed them. Should Valentin Sahlt still be alive (at the time of this report) then Adam Seifert sincerely greets him.
