Dear Staats-Anzeiger!
I want to report now that today the other twin child of Johannes Ploski and wife Legathia has died.
We thank Anselmus Wagner for challenging us to write in the Staats-Anzeiger more often.
We were also happy about the greeting, especially the mother and the brothers Adam and Zachaeus, both of whom are widowers. Adam’s wife Anatolia, nee Brickner had died 5 years ago. Zachaeus’ wife died last November.
Brother Joseph Wagner is doing well. However, last week he had some bad luck. He ran into the windmill while riding his bike. For a while he thought that his nose was gone. The rest of his head and face were also in bad shape. All is well now and Joseph is back at work in the field.
Anselmus should continue to write diligently, because we love to read his reports. How is Sofia Dirk the stepdaughter of Anselmus Riehl doing? She is probably married by now.
Our church elders are Nikolaus Schreiner, Peter Volk and Johannes Ploski. Our pastor is an Englishman and is a good priest, just that he does not know German. We are letting Rafael and wife Monika (*Editor: family name missing) know that we are still waiting for a letter. Mr. Adam Seifert should be so kind and have them read these lines.
We would like to ask Isidor Leinz, the correspondent from Krasna, Bessarabia if Mr. Glass is still the sexton there or if he is no longer in the village. At one time he was in Emmental where I was a member of his choir. He also had two daughters by the names of Mizzi and Lizzi.
How is Dorothea Moldenhauer, the wife of Michael doing? In advance, I thank you very much.
With the best greetings to everywhere we remain,
Anna Moldenhauer,
