Today’s rainy weather is a welcome opportunity to report a few lines to the newspaper.
This year the people completed planting unusually early and the sprouted seed looks good.
A greeting to Johannes, Sebastian, and Anton Lacher, and to Sebastian Schmalz. If they are not readers yet, they should prescribe to the Staats-Anzeiger immediately, because it is an excellent newspaper.
A hello also to Godfather Ludwig Jochim in Russia. I would like to know if he receives the paper regularly. In which case, he should also write more often. I also would like to hear from Valentin Dinies [Denies] in Canada. Franz Miller and his two sons Vincenz and Ludwig, also Adolf Kopp slipped off to Canada. Johannes Duchs will also move to Canada. His wife and children are already gone, but he was held back to fulfill his obligations. Greeting all readers and friends in the Old and New World.
