Dear Staats-Anzeiger!
Along with this report, I would like to send a friendly hello to my Uncle Friedrich and Aunt Marianna Dietz, who used to live in New Rockford, North Dakota and now reside in Raymond, Montana.
I hereby inform my brother-in-law Zachaeus Bachmeier in Kingsford, Saskatchewan, Canada that his brother Isidor is a priest in Malkotsch near Tulcea and administers to the parish of the local community.
How are you doing in the new homeland, my dear brother-in-law? We greet every one of you.
I still have to report two deaths. Johannes Karl Ternes died of blood poisoning a month ago. An abscess had grown on his neck. He was taken to the German sanatorium in Constanza immediately, but he died there after 5 days. He left a deeply mourning wife and 7 children.
Further, Marianna Wagner passed away. She had been ill for 9 months. She left her husband and 1 child. May the Lord give them eternal rest and may the perpetual light shine upon them!
Benjamin Mueller and Maximilian Ruscheinsky intend to leave for America with their families on 12 March.
In closing, I greet all friends and acquaintances as well as the dear editorship.
Anton Schmidt
