Valued Staats-Anzeiger!

Even though I am not a subscriber of the paper, I dare to direct a plea to the paper. I have two brothers-in-law in the New World, Georg G. Kuhn and Aloisius Neubauer. I would like to have their addresses, if they are still alive. Perhaps they are readers of the Staats-Anzeiger and the editorship could report the addresses to me. (*Editor: We can’t do that, even if you are a reader, without enormous loss of time. We would have to search among thousands of names without any direction.)

If this is not possible, perhaps other readers of the paper might know the addresses and could report them in the paper. That way I would find out about them, since the Staats-Anzeiger is being read here a lot. I have to report very important information to them and negotiate with them, since due to the war I had to leave my home, my parents and my siblings in order to save the lives of my family. I used to live in the Caucasus. Now I live in Emmental.
