Worthy Editorship!

I am asking my brother-in-law Raimund Ihli to write and to let me know if our father arrived at his place all right.

The health conditions are not very good. The weather is nice. We have a little bit of snow.

In Edition #40, I read that Mr. John Schaffert would like to send money but he didn’t know where to send it. I am suggesting that if he has money in abundance, he can send it to me. I could really use it.

We are hearing that our travelers from here, Father Jakob Steinke, Romuald Gross, Simon Riehl and Nikolaus Euler are being held in Germany, but no one knows anything specific. We are waiting every day for any information to arrive, but there has not yet been a sign of life from them.

I am sending greetings to all my friends.

Mathias Steinke
