Worthy Staats-Anzeiger!

I received a letter from my brother-in-law Lazarus Volk in Krasna, Bessarabia telling me that his wife Kardela had died on 9 January of consumption. This is to inform all friends in the reader’s circle.

I still have my parents in Krasna, but I have not heard anything from them since I have come to America, even though I wrote them many letters. Now I want to try it through the Staats-Anzeiger.

We express our heartfelt condolence to our brother-in-law and brother Volk. We also want to greet all our friends in Bessarabia.

Whoever writes to us first will receive the Staats-Anzeiger for 1 year.
