Dear Staats-Anzeiger!

Despite the good harvest, people still found time to get married. Our oldest son Johannes married Natalie Wagner, daughter of Raimund Wagner on 20 November.

I am greeting my old neighbor and correspondent for the Staats-Anzeiger, Anton Gedak in Krasna, Bessarabia. All of us are still healthy.

The address of Dyonisius Wingenbach is the same as mine. He lives only 6 miles away from my place. Perhaps the worthy correspondent could give me some information about my mother-in-law Elisabetha Blotzki in Emmental. I thank you in advance.

I am also greeting my mother and my siblings in the old homeland and my brother Joachim Koch near Shields, North Dakota. I wish all of them, as well as all readers of the Staats-Anzeiger, a happy New Year and a good harvest for 1929.

Raimund Koch
