Dear Staats-Anzeiger!

The son of Markus Boehm was married today in Allan to Elisabetha Fischer, daughter of Adam Fischer. Johannes Plotzki took part in the wedding as best man. Hopefully, our neighbor will have a good time. Johannes is a real joker and knows how to entertain the wedding guests splendidly.

The weather is just the way we like it. We have a wet fall and the farmers are plowing diligently.

I thank Anton and Genofeva Weber in Brazil for the greeting. You are writing “Mrs.” Anna Moldenhauer, but I am not a “Mrs.”, but a girl of 19 years. I am working for my brother Adam and I am very happy and content with my job. Here I also find time to read the Staats-Anzeiger, which I always hunger for.
