On Friday, 28 November, we received the sad news from our honored correspondent Isidor Leinz in Krasna, Bessarabia that Katharina Haag, nee Ternes, the mother of our assistant editor C. J. Haag, had died on 8 November as a result of old age and after being bedridden due to illness. She went blissfully to the Lord. Her funeral was on 10 November. She reached the age of 74 years and left 6 children - three sons and three daughters. All of them are married. Her husband Joseph Haag preceded her in death in the year 1919. May she rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon her!
