The weather here is very cold and the people in this area still have a lot of threshing to do. I myself have finished with it and have 12 bushels of wheat, 49 bushels of oats and 33 bushels of spelt (hard-grained kind of wheat) threshed off the fields.
(*Editor: We received $2. Thanks a lot.)
The yield of the harvest was not as good here as one hoped for, and the wheat is also not first class. Most of the wheat is #2 and #3. The moneybag of the farmers in this neighborhood is not going to be excessively full.
I greet the readers and the editorship.
