I was highly elated with the report from my friend Isidor Leinz. I would like it very much if he would personally write me and give me details about his father and the other relatives and friends.

I was even more delighted when I read in the report that my Uncle Joseph Haag was still alive. He is my mother’s brother.

The weather is now fairly satisfactory, only there should be some rain. The outlook now is that we should have an average harvest.
