Esteemed Editorship!

Because I am not yet a subscriber of the Staats-Anzeiger, I faint-heartedly approach you with my report wondering if it will be accepted.

Of course, the Staats-Anzeiger is not unknown to us because we read this newspaper at my brother’s, Korbinian Kahl. We have liked such reading for a long time. Therefore, I would like to surprise my husband, Zachäus Kahl with a subscription to the Staats-Anzeiger for his birthday.

I say hello to the editorship and the readers of the paper, especially to Mr. Anton Gedak in Krasna. He should please correspond diligently to the dear newspaper and also write something about my friends. I wonder whether they have totally forgotten about me.

The crops have grown magnificently and one has already begun with the harvest. We have already been harvesting for three days.
