Dear Staats-Anzeiger!

I want to inform Mr. Joseph Plotzky near Selfridge, North Dakota that we would love to trade wine for milk, namely goats’ milk from which you can make very good cheese. I would be able to sell the cheese in Kischinew.

I am very happy to hear that you, Korbinian Kahl and many other people enjoy reading my reports. I am also very sorry that I cannot give you any information about Kaspar Gross, since we don’t even know where he is staying at the present time.

I am sending a friendly hello to everyone with the request to write more often in the Staats-Anzeiger. We would also be very happy to read something in the paper about old friends and acquaintances in America.

I herewith inform Daniel and Rosa Huettel that her mother is seriously ill. Her end is expected at any time.

This is to inform Edmund Huettel that his mother wants him to return home. If you don’t want to live here you should take your mother along to America.

With best greetings,
Adam Seifert
