Dear Staats-Anzeiger!
My neighbor Zachaeus Hermann is of the opinion that this year there will be no flax, because there are no icicles present.
The health conditions are also different now with the change in the weather. While typhoid, scarlet fever and other diseases would come about during rainy and foggy weather, the health conditions have improved now with the bright sunshiny weather.
Weddings are still the order of the day. The following couples were married lately.
Nikolaus Mueller, son of Joseph Mueller married Maria Keller, daughter of Peter Keller.
Melchior Dirk, son of Johannes Dirk married Dorothea Ternes, daughter of Georg Ternes.
Mathias Winter, son of Balthasar Winter married a daughter of Leopold Seifert.
Another son of Balthasar Winter married Isabella Winter, daughter of Philipp Winter.
Joseph Riehl, son of Heinrich Riehl married Katharina Wagner, daughter of Eustachius Wagner.
Maximilian Gedak, son of Peter Gedak married Philomena Krams, daughter of Joseph Krams Sr.
Dionysius Harsche, son of Johannes Harsche married Martha Haag, daughter of Anton Haag.
Isidor Ternes, son of Martin Ternes married Luzia Furch, daughter of Valerian Furch.
The widower Alexander Deichert married Ottilia Mueller, daughter of Heinrich Mueller.
Recently Peter Volk, son of Mathias died suddenly and unexpectedly. He had gone up into the storage attic to fetch some barley. He had filled the bucket, but was found dead next to it. A heart attack had brought his life to an abrupt end.
A greeting to everyone.
Isidor Leinz
